Bertony Faustin created Abbey Creek’s first wine

2008 - Bertony Faustin created Abbey Creek’s first wine

Bertony Faustin, one of the top black vintners in America and the first Black winemaker in the state of Oregon, entered the wine industry wanting to make a statement. That is precisely what he did. By designing Abbey Creek’s first wine label in 2008, he permanently altered the vineyard. Since then, he has created a gorgeous collection of wines priced between $30 and $100 as well as the documentary “Red, White, and Black.” Uncertain about where to begin? Try the #JanelleMon√°e Sparkling Blanc de Noir.
