September 11, 2018: On this day, Wine Food: New Adventures in Drinking and Cooking was published. Wine industry experts Andrea Slonecker and Dana Frank compiled 75 pairings of wine with delicious recipes, offering tips to enhance both to the utmost. The book also includes “a wine flavors cheat sheet, a label lexicon lesson, a short course on wine tasting like a pro and illustrated features on matching wine with types of favorite foods (typical take-out, beloved pasta dishes, and popular sweets)” (Wine Food‘s synopsis).

September 11, 2019: On this day, Hall Purdue made its 150th wine anniversary, where it teamed up with the Indiana wineries, a three award-winning winery, to design and produce specially labeled wine.
