Aside from his billionaire business activities, Koch is also an avid wine collector and, like many in the market for rare and expensive wines, has been subjected to fraud on multiple occasions. Perhaps the most famous incident of this sort was his lawsuit against Rudy Kurniawan, who had managed to pass by the suspicions of many in the wine auction scene.

May 3, 2000: On this day, the European Union gave Denmark the green light to start making wine in their country.
