March 24, 2020: Wine Girl: The Trials and Victories of America’s Youngest Sommelier, a memoir by Victoria James, was published. James became one of the country’s youngest sommeliers at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and the book recounts her rise and the gender biases she navigated in fine dining.
March 24, 2022: Jordan Vineyard & Winery held its 50th anniversary for its existence and progressive growth in the production of wine. The winery also celebrated the ten-year anniversary for its John Jordan Foundation. Jordan sponsored a multi-day culinary series called Social Influence Summer. The goal of the series was to expand a charitable impact to organizations that most need assistance.
