July 13, 2002: On this day, Ayathaya White Wine was recognized for its geographical origin in Myanmar. The wine has a balance in harmony and a fresh and pleasurable aftertaste thanks to mellow fructose and an attractive acid structure.
July 13, 2004: Chateau des Brumes gained its geographical indications protection on this day. One producer of this variety, Village Farm and Winery, can be found in Thailand’s Wang Nam Khiew district, which is widely regarded as one of the country’s most ozone-rich regions and is known for its Chateau des Brumes wines.
July 13, 2019: Delaire Graff Estate was announced as the best vineyard in Africa by World’s Best Vineyards. It was the only estate in Africa to make the top 50, and was the highest climber of the year by rank. Located in Stellenbosch, the estate also features multiple restaurants, a spa, and hospitality services.
