February 22, 1985: Jessica Altieri was born. She is a professional wine specialist and judge. In addition to her work as a lifestyle correspondent for multiple national news sources, she is also CEO of The Wine Channel.

February 22, 2015: Well-known South Australian winemaker Trevor David Jones was accused of breaking into a winery where he used to work, opening the taps on four tanks, and destroying more than $300,000 in primarily white wine. He was charged with two counts of property damage, each of which has a maximum sentence of up to ten years in prison.
