December 11, 2011: Coombsville officially gained American Viticultural Area (AVA) status. Since it was just recently recognized as an AVA, Coombsville is one of Napa Valley’s designated wine-growing sub-regions with the shortest history. Mount George, which marks the terminus of the Vaca Mountain Range to the south, may be seen in the distance from this location.

December 11, 2014: Yanjing wine gained its geographical indications (GI) protection products on this day. Yanjing Wine is manufactured from native grapes grown at an altitude of 2,200 to 2,600 meters in the Yanjing Township of Mangkang County in Chengdu City in the Tibet Autonomous Region. It was brewed for a very long time; therefore, we know it was around in the middle of the 19th century. Because of the one-of-a-kind geographical location in which it was produced, the wine has a vibrant color, a smooth flavor, and a pleasant aroma in the nation. The Tibetan people have a strong demand for it despite its widespread notoriety.
