April 9, 1821: Charles Pierre Baudelaire was born in France. Baudelaire is regarded as a master of rhyme. In ‘The Soul of Wine’ Baudelaire gives voice to a bottle of wine. The wine gives thanks to its human consumer for allowing the fruit of the vine to realize its full potential by being turned into wine.
